"This was my second visit to cafe velo. I came back because I enjoyed it so much the first time. Really lovely, friendly staff and fast service. Coffee was AMAZING. Just had a slice of cake with it this time. Nabbed the sofa in the window and it was so comfy, I wasn't sure that I'd be able to get out again. I will definitely go back next time I'm in Beverley."

"We booked for a table of 14 for half 6 and sadly didn’t receive the food till about half 8, although it was amazing and the waitress was working very hard to cater for our large group. But because we had booked, we had expected service to be quicker as they knew we would be coming. They did give us a discount by removing one of the meals for the long wait. Overall, the food was really lovely but the wait was just a bit too long."

"Always a quandry between healthy smoothie or ice cream treat but we enjoy both. The smoothies are always good and the ice cream which is made by a gelateria in the city is always good too.. "We visited last night (31.08.23) after making a booking earlier in the week and I have to say the food and service were 5 star! We enjoyed starters, mains and deserts with a few drinks and everything was absolutely gorgeous. Whilst sat there so many were hopeful to get a table but it was fully booked and they were even kind enough to recommend other restaurants! Would not hesitate to revisit! Thank you so much.
