Never got to visit as it is closed nearly more than its open. Thanks for the reply from the owners. I don't think my review is review is rude or shameful. Its simply factual. Its rare to find a business in the hospitality sector that is closed 3 days a week and has narrow opening hours, when open. I would encourage you to open longer so more people can enjoy your good Mexican food. Thats just a helpful suggestion...... read more.

With the large range of coffee and tea specialties, a visit to El Dorados Tex Mex becomes even more attractive, At the bar, you can relax with a freshly tapped beer or other alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. "Went for a celebratory meal but left feeling somewhat wanting more and taken advantage of . The meals were acceptable portion size compared to other Thais I have been to were small . Whilst the food was nice nothing blew me away or my friends. The restaurant was quite cold maybe due to heating costs ?? But the main end to the evening was the calypso coffee at £7.75 each ! This was very disappointing end to our night out . Whilst prices clearly shown we wanted an end a desert but nothing really stood out . Sorry about this review but left underwhelmed."

"Having read fantastic reviews, I was hoping to treat my guests to a good experience. Oh dear. We walked through the door at 1pm on Sunday, thinking it would be buzzing. The place was empty, apart from a solitary man sitting in the window. It was dark, unwelcoming, and smelt of stale fat. The two young girls behind the counter gave no welcome, in fact looked extremely uncomfortable and didn't really know what to do with us. We made a polite attempt at looking at the menu, and beat a hasty retreat. We had a fantastic meal in a Saturday Market Deli, which was absolutely on top of the game."

"Wanted a Sunday lunch, so checking reviews decided on the Martonian . And a great choice. £14.95 for a choice of 3 meats . All cooked very nicely. There will be the critics , but they forget it's a carvery , so meat will be left longer. But every meat I tasted was very tender. Plenty of veg to choose from, and all hot and cooked nicely. Service very quick and all servers were all polite and efficient . Will definitely visit again."
