Started going to Alongi's for lunch occasionally years ago when I was working in Pinckneyville. Now it is my favorite lunchtime stop anytime I'm working in the Du Quoin area. As always the food and service is amazing! The Shrimp Sampi is the best I ever had and the children loved the shrimps Alfredo! I've eaten there for years and the love that the family has come back is always so friendly to us!
There is a reason why Alongi's has been there so long. The food is great, the atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is wonderful. A heartwarming childhood memory.
I attended a rehearsal dinner on Friday and everything was excellent. From the prompt, friendly service to the delicious food it all was wonderful. It was so nice to be out supporting a local business.
Our waitress was great. And the special was lasagna was delicious. Thank you for a very nice birthday dinner.
Our favorite place in Du Quoin!! A great family owned and family operated Italian Restaurant. The food is always very good and the service is outstanding!
