"It was okay. my partner and I visited this restaurant after reading the reviews. Unfortunately, it was just okay, the service and the food were best in average. "Have been to Veldt multiple times and they have never disappointed us. We usually stick to the lamb shoulder (10/10) but tonight I tried the chicken and risotto. Was again blown away! Always recommend to anyone looking for a delicious meal for a special occasion! Service is always of the highest standard!"

"We thoroughly enjoy visiting this restaurant for breakfast or lunch. The atmosphere out the back is lovely. Beautiful food and delicious coffee. Only negative is that there is usually a long wait for coffee. They really need 2 coffee makers on hand for the seating capacity."

"I'd like to give a better review. The coffee was very good and my partners crepes ok if a bit to sweet. I opted for organic eggs scrambled on toast. What a disappointment! No respect shown for the eggs. They were dry and rubbery, the worse I've had in years. Hopefully it's a one off on a bad day. Would revisit and try something else next time through Dubbo. Food: 2 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4"
