I'm an ex pat Lucanite and I remember this place when it was a butchers with an abattoir beside it. Apologies if your vegetarian! It's OK, it definitely lacks a bit of the personal touch. The bar staff I have found are a bit robotic, eg I don't like being asked if I would like another pint just because I am half way down the one I'm drinking.
