I always like having a pint in the Kings Inn in Dalkey. Well situated on the Main Street and it’s a good old traditional pub. I was amused at the two prior reviews from the lads drinking over worth of pints and saying one of them was a designated driver and they were not drunk! Hilarious!Anyway, great spot and recommended. Initially a positive experience, friendly service to start. Had a few quiet drinks with friends to catch the football. However as the evening went on a member of staff made a very direct insinuation that the group of us were essentially unwelcome due to insufficient consumption of alcohol.
