klaw is a great little place in the quarter temple bar. a tiny spot, but so good. my wife and I enjoyed a lot of fish dishes and they were really good and fresh! the oysters were my favorites, a great choice to choose from....Plus, they can leave a funny message on the wall. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Klaw:
The best shellfish and oysters in Dublin. We always visit Klaw when in the city (sometimes we come down just to eat). The staff are super helpful and know their stuff. The hole in the wall has a super laid back feel and be prepared to wait and sit very close to complete strangers but sure, this is all adds to it's charm. Klaw is a must visit in my book View all feedback.
We were there three years ago and there were the best seafood we ever had. little bit pricy but definitiw it worth! we'll be back soon!
Perfect comforting chowder and extremely helpful staff!
Delicious crumb roast, fish soup and lobster rolls. great service. friendly atmosphere. chef was friendly and appreciated our appreciation for his eating! very good. comes back!
Klaw was so amazing! everything was delicious. the perfect place to have the freshest oysters and wein (so we haven't missed happy hour). I don't remember the names of the other courts we have, but they were also damn good. And best of all,...Giovanna and carlos were just the best and the most beautiful people, and they made our Klaw experience so much better. when I'm back inland, I'll definitely stop at klaw!
Where to begin... perhaps the ingredients started off okay! The ambiance, well not really quaint or interesting or even bijous, more bordering on the squalid for me probably due a visit from the health inspector. As for the service, I saw plates of...food wait for what must have been mins while the service was talking on the phone, and it went downhill from there! Might have been a hard day but that's not really what it's about. As for the food, seafood linguine with seasonal seafood, or what happens to be left over mussels and a prawn (actually with too much over salted cream and a dash of .... paprika? Rarely have I been so disappointed. My recommendation, don't waste your money or your time!
