What Valerie Kearns doesn't like about Rainbow Take Away:
my partner was just around there a few min ago getting chicken and sweet corn soup and while he was standing there waiting on it the chef tasted the food and put what he tasted it with back in to the soup and stirred it back up my partner said it to the girl who was at the counter who translated it to chef and he was saying something back to her in Chinese just got refund and left wont be returning View all feedback.
So this really is based on how good their spicebag and curry sauce is. That is kinda all I tend to care about when I order from a Chinese take away on a hungover Saturday night. Curry sauce was 5 out of 5 Spicebag was a 3.5 out of 5 Verdict 4 out of 5 Filthy gorgeous curry sauce. Like crack. Seriously. I'm in love. Chips in the spice bag need to be crispier but the chicken was good and the amount of chili was perfect. It was mad hot. The driver forgot to give me my can of Coke and when I rang Rainbow after I realised they rang him immediately and he came straight back up to me all apologies. Mistakes happen but when they are dealt with immediately it's wonderful. God forbid I didn't have a can of Coke to wash down the liquid crack and spicebag goodness.
I was recommended this place by a work colleague, and seeing as there's very little in the way of takeaways in my area I gave it a go. The prices are in line with most other Chinese takeaways, although this may be a little more expensive. I got a chicken curry, chips and chicken balls, all which was quite run of the mill. The chicken in the curry was good quality, definitely a big plus. I'd go again but wouldn't order the same items again as it was quite boring, just like this review.

This is solely based on the spice bag, the salt and chili wings, and all other salt and chili meat variations. so good. Cash only policy is inconvenient, but there are two atms on the same block. Like any takeaway, if you have far to travel the chips can get soggy. I order mine well done.
