"The food was great. I got a salmon avocado uramaki and nigiri and they were delicious. The avocado was on site and perfectly balanced with the salmon. The staff is always friendly. I definitely recommend it and will continue to visit the restaurant."

"Consistently excellent! Lovely neighbour restaurant with superb food and service. They’ve also modified their restaurant appropriately to adhere to Covid restrictions and we felt very safe. The only bad thing I can ever say about the washerwomans is that the portions are very healthy so come hungry!"

"Not the usual linguine Alfredo and garlic pizza, nor the typical Templebar touristy attraction, that's an authentic Italian restaurant at its finest, it would be a 5 star rating also in Italy. Cousin made of traditional Italian ingredients combined with the lightest and contemporary style, there is no cream nor sauces to spoil the real freshness. I loved the selection of fish and seafood on display on the counter . Entertening the explanation of the staff on the best cooking options for each dish. Exhaustive the wine list. Elegant the overall atmosphere of the venue with a pleasant attention to details. Reasonable pricing. Balanced choice in the menu for fish and meat lovers. Looking forward to my next visit :"

"Arrived at Ely about on Saturday to a warm and friendly welcome. Great service, superb food and wine all combined to make for a very enjoyable evening. Lovely casual but energetic buzz all evening in Ely and wonderful staff. We thoroughly enjoyed and will definitely return soon"

"Victorian pub on George's Street.<br/ <br/ I've walked by here so many times and I've never visited. I'm very sorry I haven't visited before. This is a fab spot but it does get quite busy. There was quite a few tourists in there so we grabbed a space at the bar and propped it up for a drink or two. <br/ <br/ The taps for some of the beer are fab and I do like the old clock behind the bar. <br/ <br/ I chose Stonewell Cider. They have an absolute great selection behind the bar. Definitely worth a visit."
