"Absolutely stellar! By far the best meal in Dubrovnik. First had drinks in the lounge (amazing setting and great drinks) and then dinner. Service was 5* and food was truly outstanding. Particularly memorable were the pork belly, the ceviche and the chocolate mousse."

"An outstanding dinner experience from start to finish! The food here is beautiful and delicious every course was faultless and thoroughly enjoyable. The fish was so fresh, cooked to perfection, and perfectly complimented by the wine recommended by our waiter. The service was excellent throughout the evening the staff are SO attentive, friendly and welcoming. It seems so rare these days that you find a place where the food and service are top class, but it’s great to say this definitely the case at Forty Four!"

"This restaurant, set in a small charming side gasse, our heart really touched. the service was great, they were really good to recommend various dishes and were really honest in the number of portions we need (3 women who do not eat so much). the food was really delicious (especially the grilled tinted fish,) the dishes were not fantastic with all the fuss (i.e. not three different sauces poured over their dish), but really solid traditional food. from all the places we visited in the old town, we did not feel treated like tourist! we wish them all good and hope to visit soon!"
