"We stopped in here for lunch and it was very full. They had two small bistro tables left, and the lady behind the counter told us to sit anywhere. We were 4 adults, so pushed the 2 small bistros together. Not 5 minutes later a waitress came over and told us we could only have one of the tables because that is their policy and they had a party of 6 coming in with reservations. There were no other tables anywhere. There is no way 4 adults could have 4 meals and 4 drinks on these tiny tables. I asked if we were all supposed to sit at the tiny table, and she said yes. I said there is no way we will all fit and if we need to do that, then we will leave. She said, well that is your choice. Where were they going to sit the party of 6?....at the one bistro table that they wanted us to give up? I will NEVER go here again, and will tell all about the horrible service. We walked down the street and had a great lunch at the Desoto House with a HUGE table."

"Wow! Our whole food was amazing and service was great! They were decent, but every aspect was perfect. We ordered a variety, but included a burger, a BLT, steak tacos, wings, cheese curds and the truffle friars. Everything was delicious, well presented and came out in a great time. We also ordered the cheese cake from frosted and filled, probably the best cheese cake I've ever had!! 10/10, would recommend everyone."

"This was the first time I ate at this chain restaurant though I first heard about it 20+ years ago. I worked at a non chain Japanese Steakhouse in the suburbs of Milwaukee and I must say the quality of the food at Ichiban did not compare! My veggies were burnt, too much garlic and soy sauce in the fried rice, the shrimp appetizer was overcooked tough and chewy, and my scallops were over salted as well. My husband said the sushi was decent. The filet mignon did not have that buttery smooth texture and taste that I remember from the Hibachi grill. It had an odd texture, although the flavor was good. I was so excited to bring my kids to a restaurant like the one I had worked at from age 14 and into my early 20s when home from college. Overpriced for sure! Don 't think we will be back. The only bright spot was the show by the chef."
