great place with great staff! eating is fabulous! every time we come back to dubuque, we come here to get my favorite. it's fantastic!

what a great bar with a large menu. their burgers are the best! I recommend the Hawaiian burger. the staff is great and friendly, many great tvs.

let me be clear here: this is by far the best burger in dubuque. the west end tap is a close second (and they have something better pommes). All right.

"The food is ok. Not true Mexican by any means. Low rating cause I ordered online and the order said it was ready. Well it was not (make sure to put change in meter) they looked at me like I was crazy and then had to look for the Order (which was actually on the “to make” wall area).So had to wait for an order that was “ready to pick up”. I’m so over bad service."

"Wow! Our whole food was amazing and service was great! They were decent, but every aspect was perfect. We ordered a variety, but included a burger, a BLT, steak tacos, wings, cheese curds and the truffle friars. Everything was delicious, well presented and came out in a great time. We also ordered the cheese cake from frosted and filled, probably the best cheese cake I've ever had!! 10/10, would recommend everyone."

"This was the first time I ate at this chain restaurant though I first heard about it 20+ years ago. I worked at a non chain Japanese Steakhouse in the suburbs of Milwaukee and I must say the quality of the food at Ichiban did not compare! My veggies were burnt, too much garlic and soy sauce in the fried rice, the shrimp appetizer was overcooked tough and chewy, and my scallops were over salted as well. My husband said the sushi was decent. The filet mignon did not have that buttery smooth texture and taste that I remember from the Hibachi grill. It had an odd texture, although the flavor was good. I was so excited to bring my kids to a restaurant like the one I had worked at from age 14 and into my early 20s when home from college. Overpriced for sure! Don 't think we will be back. The only bright spot was the show by the chef."
