What Lydsters42 likes about The Mill:
We ordered a Sunday lunch to take away in current climate a few weeks ago. It was absolutely beautiful. The food was to such a high standard and we cannot wait to be able to experience it again but in the restaurant: would highly recommend thank you! View all feedback.

What Tim B doesn't like about The Mill:
Downstairs can only be described as a boozer. Restaurant is upstairs, very nice but the loud music from downstairs spoils it. Meal was nice but not worth £45 for the two of us. There’s better locally for less. Also note their website doesn’t say but... View all feedback.

"I don’t write many reviews, but my 11 year old begged me to leave one after our visit this half term! I visited with my two children and we were immediately seated and offered free drinks for the kids, which was a lovely touch. My youngest had a breakfast, which was a perfect size for her. My elder daughter had the ham and cheese toastie, which as she said, was “bigger than her head”. Lots of oozy cheese and thick, proper ham. I had the Cajun chicken roll, which was really tasty. I’ve visited the backyard many times over the years and I understand the owners have changed. The menu items themselves have changed and there are less cakes available, but the top quality ingredients, intimate, friendly environment and small but perfectly crafted menu itself have remained. My pre teen isn’t enthusiastic about much these days, but the backyard almost raised a smile from her, so it must be good!"

"I honestly don't get the good reviews this place has, I'm going to assume that the owner has changed. not only everything on the menu is very expensive, but also fish had a very bad quality and sashimi was 't properly defrosted and because she cut it too thick, it was cold inside. when we said that they were not in agreement with us (without checking whether the fish was first to see if we say the truth) and replied that the fish should not be cold because never was in the freeze cabinet, which is very related as all fish rosig should be in the freeze cabinet for at least two days before serving. of course, even if we were not able to eat the full amount of sushi because it was VERY...read more"

"Great pub, staff are the fastest at serving of any pub I've ever been to. Great atmosphere, superb live music venue but oh my is it expensive. Costs more for a pint than a central London pub which explains why its usually empty until 9pm. Has a late license most nights till 2am. Good job there's a cashpoint near by."
