Great home cooked pizza, with choice of toppings. Usual favorites of ham, pineapple, salami, etc and vegetarian optionsPrompt service which is fantastic when eating with kids. As well as the added distraction of the ever busy Bellevue Tram Stop.Very well priced for a family budget and consistent in quality. Does not disappoint.Outdoor and indoor seating, with quick turnover. Our family favorite. View all feedback.
What Konrad Bosshard doesn't like about Belcafe:
You only have something here if you really have to. The food is bad and too expensive. Even the drinks are inexpensive. The only thing that is good is the pizza that seems to be a little separated from the place as it has its own window....The pizza is good and the ingredients are fresh, but the offer is limited. I had the worst apple cake in Europe. Freeze, sealed and refused to heat. Even the cappuccino was subpar. View all feedback.
For my wife and me, the Belcafé on Bellevue Square is one of the most popular places in the city for several reasons. First, their coffee is of great quality, so their sandwiches are like those with roast beef we had this morning. The staff is...usually very friendly and they try to be as fast and efficient as possible, even if there is a queue at the switch, which is often the case. Alone, we like to sit inside the window and read one of the newspapers that are available and free to read. At other times we sit on one of the few tables outside, people watch over this busy place or with a conversation, sometimes with people from a neighboring table. Sometimes we arrange appointments with friends in the Belcafé, especially as it is in a place where several trams cross. We have a glass of white wine here before we go to a restaurant for dinner.

We got a quick lunch here, pizza, and we got what we wanted. The pizza is beautiful and also the delicious hot chocolate.
Went there regularly for lunch during school. Cheap pizza by the slice (or whole) that is equaly good to most Italian restaurants.
My husband and I were out looking for a quick place to eat after a long day of traveling. We stumbled across Belcafe. It looked busy with people from the area so we decided to give it a try. We ordered a 14" pizza to share, a beer and a glass of Melbec, the bill was just under 20 Swiss francs. The young lady who helped us was very polite, personable and spoke English. Good service and tasty pizza. Crust thin and tasted excellent, my husband who never eats the crust finished mine. Not overly cheesy, good ratio of crust, cheese and sauce. Not the most romantic place but great for people watching as we sat outside. Very interesting and fun assortment of people at night.
