We were not treated the best. To begin with, expensive restaurants like this should let the customers know that they don’t take Credit Card when you come in I ordered Duck confit and was not available. The server came back with a similar option bu...at the end was much more expensive... Not my first choice in Dusseldorf View all feedback.
Consistent quality, efficient service. Prices have moved up, portions definitely a bit smaller (my rack of lamb . Still do not take credit cards . Charged for bread refills, and do not serve tap water.
Kitchen and service are always great. Feeling home!
Staff extremely rude, gossiped about the customers openly Without anyone caring whether anyone heard. Ordered the flammkuchen and what arrived at the table was neither a flammkuchen nor any recognisable food I have ever seen. When I sent it back I was told the chef said it was perfect and wouldn’t change it. We were lucky and got the only nice waitress there and she offered for me to order something else. I decided I couldn’t go wrong with a Boeuf Bourguignon. I was wrong.... they should rename this abomination Boeuf Löwensenf. I would avoid at all costs if you are looking for a nice meal.
I really like the food and the service is super friendly and helpful but, unfortunately, no reservations accepted. So you either come early or risk waiting for a table. The menu has tiny print but lots of dishes on it so it took me some...time to find what I wanted. In the end it made me come back as there are so many dishes I wanted to try and I will go back to try more. I wish the place would be a little less busy and more cozy but hey, its a brasserie.
We were there with our friends for a dinner. It’s not about fashionable place but it is about very tasty food. I ordered fish in sesame seeds and fish tarrine- it was delicious! You can not book a table on advance, it’s only possible to...queue and we did not regret for doing that.
