What Ulf Mack doesn't like about Phoenix Restaurant:
I visited this restaurant 20 years ago when it was an indo-china restaurant and it was better then. The Pho i had (Sat midday, beef) was good and I would have it again but this restaurant is lacking some 'spice ' in the style department. My partner ate a vegetarian curry which was also nice, but not over exciting. Given the quality of asian food in Düsseldorf in general, this place is going to need to up it 's game. "My vegan tart was a real treat! The two owners are super friendly, knowledgable about vegan and continuously trying to work on the vegan patisserie products. There are always about 3 or 4 vegan cake options, including carrot cake and cinnamon buns. Really handy that you can order via Whatsapp (01578 820 6230)."
