"Excellent menu and good value for money. Their speciality is locally sourced produce and they didn't disappoint... even the thyme on my lamb steaks was picked in the valley! If the weather is kind (which it may not be in the hills) you can sit...out on the terrace under a beautiful willow tree. We stayed in the hostellerie next door and had a really pleasant couple of days."

"This magnificent place has a large, secluded outside area for warm weather (and this is the norm in ille and also a beautiful atmosphere inside. the personal is pleasant, but the main thing is eating that is of a high standard. one of their specialties is brochette (spoke or kebabs, and they can combine from different types of meat. they also do delicious fish, with home made mayonnaise and well dressed salat (but I find their chips a bit oily . if they like large glass bowls of ice cream-based dessert, there are several that they choose. an absolutely reliable place. "We were on a long day trip on a rainy day in the Pyrenees and ran low on fuel so we looked for a place to have dinner at nearby. Didn't read any reviews, just followed Google Maps and walked in. It was still early in the evening, and there were only 2 more tables occupied. By the time we left, they had to turn people away (and we didn't linger long). The food was outstanding, very tasty, great value for money. The service was lovely and smiling, and you could get the feeling that staff/owners love their jobs. Can highly recommend it!"
