"Great spot on the banks of the Clarence River. We lunched there on the way back to Ballina after a morning enjoying Grafton's beautiful Jacaranda trees. So beautiful. If we had had more time a walk around the village of Ulmarra would have been on the agenda. Next time! Service: 5 Location: 5"

"We stopped here for dinner on a Thursday night. The meals are generous and flavoursome (ribs and fillet steak). The service was friendly and quick. We sat outside which was largely peaceful. Inside seemed much louder. Will most likely go again."

"My rusty toast was overly sweet and the pot of light yellow fat (butter or marg) was perhaps not as fresh as possible. I got a diarrhea within 30 minutes and an annoyed breath for days after. the servierwife was friendly but stressed and told me her problems. garten has developed as something special for the jacaranda festival, but really a lot of common plants (natives) in pots that some dc need."

"Had great live band Bad Sneekers playing last night, needed to dance with mask on which was very difficult. I really dont see the difference between 3 couples on floor everyone else at tables talking laughing. Rules are strange these days, just gotta go with the flow. Such a shame the crowd didn't stay with the opportunity to be almost normal, good on you South Grafton Club"

"This is a cafe similar to happy days tv show without the Fonz. That speciality of course is ice cream I had a friend visiting from the Central Coast and Ireland and we went there for a quick bite. Hot dogs are on offer as well as burgers and toasted sandwiches.It is close to the movies I also took my grandchildren there during the school holidays and we had lunch and of course ice scream before going to the movies."

"Had a few meals here now, great vego burger. Partner has the classic parmi. 10/10 every time. You do get what you pay for and the price is on the upper end of the pub meal pricing scale but the meal reflects this. It’s been great every time. We bring our dog and sit outside in the garden. Great atmosphere and staff. They always check we’re happy. I’ll be back. No doubt. Food: 5"
