We decided to sit at the bar, our favorite spot, during our visit to the restaurant. The server/bartender provided excellent service and the food was delicious. The only issue was that my wild rice was overcooked. Despite this, we visit the restaurant at least two to three times a week. I really enjoy the food at this restaurant! We ordered the steak kabobs during our visit. View all feedback.

It's been years since we have been to a Grandma's, probably going to be years before we go back. They DO have a gluten free menu. It has 7 items on it. Gluten free menu says fruit is the side , was told it is a side salad, no problem. Side salad arrives with croutons on it. Not gluten free croutons. Had to send it back. I got the turkey BLT nice amount of meat on it but was it 15.65 worth? My husband got Dante's infe... View all feedback.
If you're looking for delicious food, generous portions, and a cozy atmosphere, look no further! The prices are reasonable. I tried the Walleye lunch menu and the fish was outstanding! The wait staff is extremely friendly and the assistant manager always ensures that your meal is just right. This restaurant is family-friendly and conveniently located.
The restaurant quickly seated us and provided prompt service during dinner time on a Friday. The smoky bacon mac and chicken and wild rice soup were both delicious. Definitely worth a visit.
Today's dining experience was a complete disaster. Duluth is always packed with tourists every weekend, yet restaurants seem to be unprepared and overwhelmed by the crowds.
The service was okay, the food was decent, but I was disappointed to find out that there was a mandatory surcharge for the kitchen crew. This came from one of the wealthiest families in the area. I will not be returning.
Once we were seated, our waitress, Claire, came over and took our drink orders. She was friendly and attentive, and made sure our glasses were always full. I decided to try the open-faced ham melt sandwich instead of my initial choice of fish and chips, and my wife ordered her favorite chicken tetrazzini. The food was delicious, and Claire checked in on us regularly to make sure everything was to our liking. I also indulged in a dessert of strawberry rhubarb pie, which was excellent. The staff at Grandma's were all friendly, polite, and casual, but always willing to help. The restaurant has a local charm and offers anonymous comment cards for feedback. As we left, Claire thanked us for coming and Amanda mentioned she looked forward to seeing us again. Overall, our experience at Grandma's was wonderful. I would definitely recommend it, and I even received a military discount on my bill.
