We returned to this quaint little lunch spot today. Second visit was just as good as the first. Their portion sizes were very generous and they were able to retain the quality of their home cooked meals. Aside from the chips which weren’t to my liking (prefer home cooked, hand cut chips) the fish was amazing and I enjoyed a well made coffee. What Teadane doesn't like about Scent Of Galloway:
During a resent visit to Scotland, we were traveling through Newton Stewart, its not the easiest place to get a bite to eat at six o'clock in the evening. But we came across this cafe. To be honest it didn't look great on the outside, and there is a lot of clutter inside but overall the food was good. In beautiful weather you can even have something in the outdoor area, and for your baby or toddler, there is a high chair. A counter with seating options invites you to linger, and there is a eating area with chairs/tables.
