"Visited this cafe just by chance looking for somewhere for a warm drink to get out of the rain with our dog 'The Bear '. Was welcomed in and guided to a table downstairs. So t be fooled with the view from outside. There 's loads of space indoors. Brilliant service and made such a fuss of our choccy Lab. Ordered 2 teas and a banana split. Wow what a desert, big enough for the two of us and a jar of sausage bits for The Bear... would defo recommend.end and will return next tome we are in the area... Well.done team.."

"The food here was okay but nothing out of this world. My husband had to send his food back as he had asked for the steak to be cooked well done but it was still pink inside. There wasn't much atmosphere however it was pretty quiet so perhaps would have been different if it had a few more people in"

"Family of 7 eat here ,night before wedding and staff we lovely ,polite and friendly .Some of our meals were good but 2had fish and it was terrible ,honestly Iceland do better fish portions ,because of restriction we were sat at lovely big table in...a corner which suited us fine"

"Service by mature lady not welcoming, she also took order of friends which arrived sometime after we arrived. After 6hrs travelling this was very annoying. Food was very average, would not recommend this establishment."

"Another lovely lunch at The Angler's today. The food is always tasty, it's very reasonably priced and the staff are always friendly and helpful. I have also had several afternoon teas and evening meals there too and have enjoyed every single one of them! Keep up the great work all of you!
