"Went for a family meal while on a break. Had the steak. It was simply one of the 5 best meals I have ever had full stop. The beer was perfect, with an open fire. All the food was top notch even the kids meals. Well done guys."

"On the campsite stood the road and made this during our stay. very friendly staff, very friendly and courteous. good selection of ales and spirits, beautiful atmosphere, very relaxing. the starter of skalopp, black pudding butter and black bell with a heap purée was thrilled. lead of venison pie, a real pie with a under and a top! skin on chips and veg, omg it was to die. eton mess for pud, top notch. what a little jewel this place is, it's so far away! thanks to hot, karen and the team."

"Beautiful caffe in a bookshop specializing in books of women. we stayed for old and enjoyed the daily food dish made vegan, a cafet coffee and a disc ingwer tiffin. the personal was really friendly and knowledgeable and I went away with a huge baptism of the women’s press books for my collection."

"The food was delicious, very Scottish and filling. Served very hot and fresh. Service was a relaxed pace but fine. Pricing was reasonable. Great to be dog-friendly, the waitress even brought a bowl of water for my dog. The Wi-Fi also worked well."
