This is a terrific spot for a coffee. So relaxing and the staff are so friendly. They also sell great thongs and hats. Grab all your fishing gear and bait also...

"Wouldn’t have known this cute little spot existed if it weren’t for a friend who knew the area and recommended it. Really lived up to expectations. The scones were delicious and I ordered the ‘Mia special’ pie which I’d highly recommend. Friendly service and a really lovely dining room with plenty of country charm. But a personal favourite element was the friendly chooks roaming around"

"I just Love Bittersweet, everyone is so friendly and cannot do enough for you. The staff know exactly how I like my coffee as I am very fussy. When I pre-order it is always ready for me when I arrive which is what I like. The menu is varied and the food absolutely delicious. We Love to go there for lunch or just drop in at any time for a cuppa. The new Decor is great and there is a lot more room. If you are a local or just visiting Port, it is worth stopping in on Bittersweet, you won't be disappointed! Cheers Sheila Sam Openshaw"

"Ok .... Not brilliant. I guess it depended on what you ordered, my husband's pasta was nice. I ordered a chicken schnitzel chips and salad, normal pub fare which is quite predictable but the chicken was very thin, very small and dry. Friends commented on the portion size as being tiny. The salad was dressed and plenty of chips to fill the plate. I never mind what I pay as long as I enjoy it.....I did enjoy the salad but too expensive for what I was served"
