"Dry overcooked fish. Burger also overcooked despite request to be medium rare. Soggy French fries. Service couldn't care less because service is 20% regardless. Not worth it. Go somewhere else."

"First, I'd like to thank everyone at Walter Hansel for their generosity during Dining Out for Life! You guys are definitely the cat's pajamas! Next, what a phenomenal meal. The lamb, duck, halibut, escargot...every bite was five stars across the board. Mandy, our server, was knowledgable and fun. She was there whenever we needed her but was never overbearing. "Pros: Sierra, the concierge, set up our entire itinerary for us for the 3 nights. She listened and recommended wineries that we would like. Because we chose wineries that are partnered with the hotel, almost all tasting fees were waived. The only one that wasn't was Bricoleur because we did the lunch and wine pairing, which was amazing! Our cottage room was cozy with a nice fireplace. The daily wine hours were a nice touch. Breakfast was also delicious. Cons: Our room was close to the busy street and you could hear the traffic when we didn't have the fan on. We booked dinner at the fine dining restaurant and were disappointed with the portion sizes, especially for the amount of money we paid. Be aware when you check in that you will be charged $35/day for housekeeping/guest services tips. You can opt out, but we felt that we wouldn't have gotten the same service if we did. We felt it should've been included in the stay. Overall, we enjoyed the experience and set up of our tours and even booked the car service for the day, which was worth every penny. The grounds are small but beautiful with places to sit every where and lots of fire pits."

"Amazing LITTLE place. A perfect example of a wonderful hole in the wall restaurant!! The staff was very cheery and eager to help and suggest items. The food came in HUGE portions!!! And was definitely under priced. The seating was limited to about 6 tables as it was raining outside. But they accommodated everyone and it was a pleasure eating there. Will most definitely go back!!!"

"We went here for some lunch and it was absolutely amazing. The clam chowder and crab sandwich were the best. James had the chowder in the bread bowl and fish and chips. Great food for sure and there were these tables right on the sand that was really cool. Will have to come back for sure."

"The food was really great. We had the veggie samosas as an appetizer and I think that was my favorite part. They put all of the different dipping sauces over a bed of chickpeas and then the Samosas on top, it was killer. The Tika Masala had to much tomato in it for my preference, so I don't think I would order that again, but everything else was absolutely on point. One of the owners came out to check our table. Everyone was very attentive, the restaurant was clean and welcoming. We will definitely be back again. Thank you!"
