What Peter N doesn't like about The Valley Charcoal:
I had the worst toasted fried egg sandwich ever. It was made with one egg (prolly small size) that barely covered 2/3 of the bread. The food cost was probably no more than 20 cents. I paid $5.95. To say the least, I was not impressed. View all feedback. What Patricia T likes about The Valley Charcoal:
I went to this restaurant with friends for breakfast. The menu had a great variety of options to choose from. The prices were very reasonable and the portions were quite large. Our food was served promptly and it was all hot and fresh. View all feedback.

read moreThis family-style diner offers large portions, simple menus, and reasonable prices. Seating yourself and ordering at the counter is the norm. While some have praised the food, others have noted issues with the quality and service. From the delicious vegetable salad to the disappointing burgers, opinions are mixed. Cash-only payments, lack of organization, and cleanliness concerns have also been mentioned. Overall, if you are looking for a classic, old-school diner experience with no frills and good food, this place might be worth a try, but be prepared for some inconsistencies and unprofessionalism.
