What User doesn't like about Dunedin Social Club:
What's good to say about this place? One word Nothing. $18 for a delivered steak and chips and salad(if you can call it that) that looked like it was pulled out of a packet a week ago. As for the meagre amount of chips, you'd be lucky if they stretched to half a metre if you put them end to end. As for the steak, apart from being just on well done (even though it wasn't supposed to be), it's probably the worst steak... View all feedback.
Total dive bar. Love it. Good place for a drink and the staff seem friendly and responsive. Music is fun generic pop. Go in with low expectations and you’ll be fine.
Good for the price! Can’t beat $16 for a decent meal. We had the duck risotto and steak with truffle mash. Fun vibes.
Nice cheap beer BUT the chips portions are not generous. Also the aioli seems to be watered down or something, it's quite thin and not flavourful
All the food was oily and dismal in flavour especially the fries. The only thing worth coming here for is the cheap beer. The wedges would have been great if only they had sweet chilli I went up to the counter and asked for some but they didn’t have any. Dismal food and would not recommend to anyone.
A reasonable pub in the middle of town. A good range of drinks, including beers, wines and spirits. They also provide some food, that is reasonably priced. The staff are helpful and friendly. Worth a try.
