I was here on trivia night and the place was packed. I was able to get a sea at the bar after a short wait. They have a bunch of their own beer and several tap handles of guest beers. I had their Hoptacular IPA brewed with Mosaic and Citra hops and it was a nice example of that beer style. View all feedback.
What Dallin Heidenreich doesn't like about Caledonia Brewing:
Dunedin has many, many, many breweries. So to stand out you need to offer something that the others don't. Caledonia doesn't have food food trucks like other breweries. There is a good selection of taps, and they do host fun events. But the seating is terrible. The only options are small, metal high tops with hard metal stools, or 2 large wooden benches. Ok service, decent selection of beers (although limited to dark beers). The area was very crowded and loud, so if you like a more relaxed atmosphere.
For a fast flight stopped... wanted to stay for more! This place has a great feeling, good table area and had a DJ going (Tue night.) You.
