"I went to Mukteshwar again for some official work in last week of June ,so when it was Mukteshwar then I had to be Chandi Maati aswell so I visited the place and had mutton with Roti ,the food was heavenly and the desert was offered to me was complimentary from the lovely owner Rohit who is a very courteous person and most of the time can be seen inside the kitchen as he himself supervises the preparations.wont write much ....but would say that its a must visit place.plan to visit the same place in August ."

"The best place for Kumaoni food. You must also try the mutton with appam. It is a very unique dish. There are many more things on the menu. We also tried the black rajmah dal, this is available only in the Kumaon and Garhwal hills."

"I did a lot of research on internet for vegan restaurants in Nainital. I tagged Giani restaurant in google maps with 'want to go '. The ambience is awsome. Sitting is comfortable. Waiters are well dressed and well behaved. Food preparation is excellent. It is a bit costly but reasonable if we consider the overall location, service, hygiene. I strolled a lot on mall road but didn 't find any other outlet serving veg food in a hygienic way. The street food vendors are not maintaining hygiene. Pure veg restaurants are few and Giani is recommended. I will advice Giani to use ceramic crockery instead of melamine."

"The location is picturesque, however is spoiled with the management. Upon arrival we were given a dark and dingey room, with bare lighting. Upon several requests an electrician was called upon who then finally put an extra light. However, the horror doesn't end here. The room itself seems like hasn't been cleaned in ages. The carpet stinks and the walls are completely clamped and dusty. Moreover, the washrooms don't work. The flush stopped working after 1 time and the water gets clogged in the washroom. Upon complaining about this, the hotel sent someone who not only didn't do any repair work, but made the washroom even more dirty since he wore his shoes and went in. Their linen is in a pathetic condition. Seems like rats have eaten away into it. Paying almost 10k for such a room is completely pathetic. Those coming here, please beware about your stay in this resort which they claim is the best. If you don't believe me, see for yourself in the images posted with this review. The Lake resort thank you for making my stay even more pathetic and miserable. Rooms: Horrible and pathetic rooms. Rooms: 1 Service: 1 Location: 3"
