Our first visit from Chattanooga & won't be our last Our good friends drove us the 45 beautiful mins to the restaurant.
When we walked in, we were not greeted by staff and then we stood waiting by the door for a table when there were plenty open.
The Good- -Cute quaint restaurant in the hills -Family owned -Reasonably priced -Yummy cupcakes -Good size portions (especially on cake!) -My date's fried

"A buddy and I decided to eat lunch at the newly re-opened Pizza King today. The first thing I noticed was the improved appearance and layout of the entrance area. There is a small salad bar/pizza buffet for those who want a quick bite to eat. Nice addition. The menu appears to be the same as the old Pizza King. I ordered the meat lovers calzone, and my buddy ordered the gyro sandwich with tatertots. Ordering was a little slow as one of the order takers was obviously new and got easily confused. The wait time for our food was a little longer than expected, but the restaurant was reasonably busy at the time. When our food arrived, I was surprised at the portion size; noticeably smaller than under previous management. As for my calzone, it was supposed to be a meat lovers with mushrooms, but it had a lot of mushrooms and very little meat. It also had a slightly burnt flavor. Overall, I was not impressed with my first visit to the new Pizza King. However, I will give it another try to see if things improve."

"Good fajitas, and ice cold Modello draft. Usually the food is all great, but the most recent visit was hit and miss. The mexican tacos were good, the shredded beef birria tacos were wayyy too greasy. $9 for queso, but we waited so long for chips it went to waste. The margaritas are ok at best, and the frozen ones are too sweet. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner"

"I have nothing negative to say about the food, one subway is the same as all. BUT my goodness, the service was awful. Down right unfriendly and rude. Three girls working and only one showed any sort of recognition that I was a customer. Summer was the only pleasant one. The other two seriously need to be fired. I will never go back."

"We were so excited to eat here because we were craving hibachi… Hands down the worst service I’ve ever had in a restaurant. AND It wasn’t even busy in there… We waited 20 minutes before we even got our drink orders taken. A table that was seated after us had their food order taken by the same waitress before we had our drink order or food order in… We waited another 15 mins, waitress still hadn’t brought our drinks. I saw her behind the counter and went up and asked her to bring them, waited another 10 minutes before she got our drinks. Then… we finally got our food… it was cold. We did not get checked on once after getting our food, no refills on drinks either. I would not recommend this place to anyone."

"Talk about a hidden gem! this place was great. the food was delicious, the atmosphere was great, the staff was very friendly and helpful. it is very small with limited seating place. added, it was a Saturday night and we just got a table inside there in time. the only complain I have is I am in the wheelchair and there were no disabled bars in the bathroom to maneuver on the toilet and it was difficult to maneuver in the toilets of women. it would have been so much easier for me to change the bathroom. the toilet of the woman in which the herren's room is. it's a direct shot in the men's room, not a maneuver. I'm sure someone could go, it wouldn't be a problem for them. there was a very nice gentleman out there (who worked there, I think) who had to help me on the ramp, as there was a lip that was too high for my bikes to come. he raised my front wheels on the ramp. Thank you for him and his help! overall the place was wonderful and the food was absolutely delicious. I would recommend this place on the look for some fantastic bar food and great atmosphere!"

"I highly recommend this authentic Mexican Restaurant. I'm from Arizona visiting my daughter and son-in-law and they took me there 5/10/23. I was quite surprised to see they had Vegetarian dishes. I had saute veggies that were not the norm of what I get in Arizona. My dish consisted of spinach, mushrooms, broccoli, onions, carrots and cauliflower along with Mexican rice and delicious fresh pinto beans. This was by far the best Mexican Restaurant that I have ever been to. It out did my favorite El Charros Mexican Restaurant in Bullhead City, Arizona.Here I am visiting a small town Dunlap, Tennessee population over 5,000 and they have Vegetarian dishes, which I never expected. Right On!!! Thanks for a wonderful and delicious meal."

"Really a jewel in the middle of somewhere. Simple, underlying land decoration with family-style menu. Great variety of entrees and sandwiches to fit any taste buds. Special treat for those who can make it dessert, as they have fresh, homemade cakes, cakes and cupcakes. We enjoyed the fried catfish and the BBQ pig. Very plentiful portions that have been seasoned and cooked properly. The staff was friendly, attentive and efficient. All in all a pleasant experience."
