"The Pizza Joint We love to travel and we need to look at the pizza places everywhere. That was by far our favorite! My son said it was the best pizza he ever had, and he's a pizza expert. The calzone was huge and that was small. The under and wings were amazing. Google told us that this was in the top 20 pizza spots in the state, and I have to put it as #1! My love for my Chicago pizza can come 2nd to The Pizza Joint, it was worth the hour and half a car ride."

"Unfortunately I've had to lower my rating from 5 to 3 stars. The last couple times we've come the food and service just haven't measured up to our first experience described below. We are new to the area and came here for the first time on a Sunday evening. We sat in the outside patio and enjoyed the fresh air. I ordered the garden salad and bean soup. Absolutely delicious. The salad was fresh and crunchy best one I've had in a long time. The bean soup was soul food enough said! Great service. We will definitely be regulars."

"Nasty food, every time we've been here. My son enjoyed his omelet, but my eggs and potatoes were yuck, and the bacon was burnt. The biscuit was hard in the middle. I've been here numerous times over the years, and if not for my son who likes eating here, I'd never come back."
