The place looks great, drinks are good. Service is … ok , the food is ok. The toppings stop way short of the crust , luckily the crust is great after the fire oven bake. The margarita pizza was below average with watery tasteless Romano tomatoes. One of our party said their salad was to vinegary and another that got the chicken Alfredo said it was just average. I ordered a Margherita pizza and got Margherita pizza's cousin instead. If you know what is supposed to look like. This ain't it not even the mozzarella cheese....

"This is my favorite restaurant in the Durham area. The food is high end without being pretentious. You also could show up in jeans and know what would bat an eye. Everyone from the manager, to the hostess at the door, to the bartenders are friendly and engaging. The cocktail menu has traditional favorites but offerings for the more adventurous. It's expensive but worth every penny."

"As always a great dinner, great cocktails and great service. Sides salads, fries and sprouts, are large enought to share salad for the others for Same with steak cuts. A tip: our friends ordered a filet mignon to share. It arrived cut horizontally which didn't look appealing and it was over cooked. So, if you go that direction, ask to have it cooked whole and then cut vertically for sharing"
