"My food was extremely fresh! The staff was patient as this was my 1st visit! It is a warm cozy upscale atmosphere! It was an excellent experience! I had The Rancher and it was delicious! "Loaf bakery is simply exceptional! They are a bit pricier than other local bakeries, but their breads are always perfect and the flavors, craftsmanship and attention to detail evident in their French pastries truly creates an *experience* worth enjoying! I can?t recommend loaf highly enough."

"We were in the hotel next to the restaurant. beautifully dressed, we asked a drink on the (empty) waiting terrace before the restaurant. the stoic hostess refused to sit outside on the open terrace (not even the enclosed dining terrace) with our 2 nice dogs. so we went 10 meters to the next restaurant and were warmly welcomed on their terrace. also the umstead welcomes dogs on their terrace. not sure what they thought."

"OK this place is great!The atmosphere is one of the coolest places that I have gone in the Durham Chapel Hill area. Tons of fire pits, lots of heaters, gigantic huge screens to watch any game that you could imagine, and Christmas lights galore. You actually felt like you were in some kind of unearthly Christmas movie in the middle of the city. The pizzas looked amazing although we did not try them. You can actually get s'mores and hot cider which is way cool especially since we went with underage children. And the beers were good. I might've chosen wrong on my flights. Even with the beers that I being 50-50 I would go back again and again. I was even willing to buy a T-shirt, but they didn't have my size. And that says a lot if I want to buy a T-shirt from all a brewery. You definitely need to check this place out! And let's give it five stars for the coolest mascot ever at a brewery!"

"I didn't even want to give 1 star. Food is cold and chips are salty. Rice is hard and they don't keep the food stirred. It all looks dry. I will not be coming back to this one. This is my first time trying it and it's the worst experience. I WILL STICK WITH CHIPOTLE!"
