What Barry Reid likes about The Cellar Door:
there is a vegan starter, head and dessert on the menu. It is a small menu that changes every month. eating was amazing and like nothing I had before. really impressive and apparently made with all locally produced ingredients. it is not her usual menu and it was good to try something completely different. I would highly recommend! the cocktails are also really good. View all feedback. What Орбай Doe doesn't like about The Cellar Door:
It’s a nice bar with loads of great drinks, but the vegan food is not so great. When you can get the vegan options they are nice but I’ve had nicer food. It’s not bad, but it’s not the best value. Otherwise the staff are fantastic and the drink selection is good View all feedback.

Only had a drink. Small and friendly old worldly pub
Always like visiting here, love the chairs to the right of the bar. Beer selection is better this time.

read moreThe restaurant offers a lively atmosphere with a mix of late teenagers, students, and older patrons enjoying drinks and watching football on big screens. With midweek drink offers and a vegan menu available, visitors can strategically plan their visit for a pleasant surprise. While the vegan options on the menu are extensive and made with locally sourced ingredients, some customers had mixed experiences with the staff's understanding of vegan substitutions. Despite this, the restaurant offers a variety of delicious vegan options and creative dishes, making it a must-visit spot for vegans in Durham. The cozy and historic atmosphere, friendly staff, and extensive vegan menu options make it a top choice for those looking for a delicious and enjoyable dining experience in Durham.
