"Don’t come here if you have an allergy Advised staff on arrival of allergy to sunflower seeds. Waitress said there were no sunflower seeds used in the meals. All good at this point Order meals , 5 min later staff member comes out of kitchen, doesn’t introduce herself just says ‘who has the allergy? ‘ Asks if allergy is bad how do you define bad?? we reply yes we have an epi pen. Staff member then says literally ‘we can’t serve you, you have to leave’ We are aghast! Restaurant is in high tourist area booked 6 months ago no mention at time of booking or on confirmation that service is refused if you have severe allergy. No apology, no offer to provide my wife with food allergy free wife no suggestion of where we are to go for a meal. No supermarket nearby to pop into for a quick shop . Everyone in restaurant is staring at us and thinking ‘gee those people have just been kicked out !’ And I use the expression kicked out because that is exactly what happened. Never in all my adult life have I been treated like this. Every other restaurant we have ever been to has coped quite well with my allergy including restaurants in other isolated areas We have tried to contact the restaurant my email and phone for further discussion. They have not responded. We have since referred our complaint to VisitScotland and are looking at other avenues to ensure that this blatant discrimination does not continue Show less Date of visit: September 2023"

"Pleasantly surprised to find a nice after poor offerings in previous visits. Very friendly staff. I had the Thai curry but other options included a chickpea and spinach curry, baked potato with choice of fillings and the pizza had vegan options too."

"This place was recommended by Mike, the owner of the lodge we were staying at in Kylesku. Great tasting take-away Indian cuisine in a most unlikely location...don't be put off by the fact that everything comes frozen. Saved the day because in January, just about every restaurant for miles around is closed for the season. Would stop there again if I ever find myself in that neck of the woods. Well done...very professionally organized, and the food was great!"

"We know the Tongue area very well, and like to eat locally, so it was obvious we would decide to eat at the Craggan, and i'm happy we did! The restaurant area is welcoming and clean, staff friendly, and the car park was easy even with a big van. The only problem was choosing from the menu! So many tasty things i wish we had more time to visit again.. All three of us enjoyed our food, and we shared everything so i know it was all delicious. Thank you for making a rather wet evening so special.."
