I was initially not a fan of this place when I first tried it in 2011. However, I tried it again about 3-4 years ago and it is now quite good. The chicken teriyaki, katsu and yakisoba are all solid options. View all feedback.

What Gurn Blanstein doesn't like about Ichi Bento In Shorel:
I used to love this place but it's gone downhill with the new owners. I moved away a number of years ago and not sure when they took over but I came back into town today and decided to eat there and was very disappointed. The spicy chicken sauce is totally different, almost tasted a little bit like spicy barbecue sauce. The tempura batter was horrible. It wasn't real tempura batter it was panko. Excellent lunch option if you’re are hungry, everything was hot and fresh. Would highly recommend this place.
