"Stopped by this lil gem. The food was amazing, so tasty and fresh. The porterhouse in my beef sandwich was the most tender steak I’ve ever had. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent service. So many beautiful lavender products too. Also the lavender ice cream was yummy"

"Fantastic shop for takeaway food really good chips and seafood, service is friendly and quick and prices are cheap for the coastal location I have great respect for places such as this . You can also eat in and take in an incredible view over the bay off there outdoor deck . There also stock some fish gear and some household items and a selection of clothes. If you want a coffee or hot chocolate or a nice wood fire pizza they offer that also ."

"One of the best coffees in Tasmania! It’s not an easy feat but combined with the epic view and plenty of things to do around the location, it’s a winner. Highly recommend swinging past if you’re around the area. Staff are super friendly and fast service too! Will be back."

"I'm giving the historic site five stars as it was absolutely incredible and the caretakers have done a fantastic job maintaining this place. If you like history, it's here in spades. We did the ghost tour and unfortunately our tour guide, Jacinta, really cheapened the experience with very disrespectful humour and over-the-top storytelling. I would do the ghost tour again but hopefully we'd be able to request a different tour guide. To be fair, she was very young and probably doesn't understand the depth of how much suffering really went on. At least that's how it seemed. Overall though, the place is beautiful even with the overwhelming sadness and heavy feeling that's in the air... It's worth taking a few hours to walk around on your own during the day to really get the full experience. Especially in the morning"

"Best burger I have eaten in Tassie. The schnitzel burger is the best. Chicken Schnitzel burger has chicken schnitzel, bacon, lettuce, fried onion, beetroot and tomato and sauve on a huge breadroll. Definately coming back"

"It's quite a remote spot in my opinion and my experiences are, restaurants in touristy and remote area serve very average food. Now here it's quite a different story. The food was amazing! My bangers and mash, oddly enough, the highlights were the mash and caramelised onions, not so much the sausages. <br/>My partner ordered house made pork burger and it was delicious! I don't normally rave about burgers, but this is just perfect. It could very well be the waitress was so friendly and welcoming. It could also be where we were. The restaurant has the most amazing views! Great for a wedding or engagement party"
