What Farzag likes about Soane's Kitchen:
We were served by Simone, who was polite, knowledgeable, fun and attentive to just the right degree. The decor is a bit unusual but the furniture is comfortable to sit on and we liked the style. The food was good too: each of our 3 courses was delicious, without the portions being overly large. 3 courses with wine, drinks and coffees came to just under £100, including service, which was good value. What SusmitaC doesn't like about Soane's Kitchen:
3rd visit now and although staff are great and venue beautiful the food is below average. This will be my last visit. It’s bland and a bit misleading when it comes to children meals.The shashuka is essentially tin tomatoes, no flavours. The truffle mushrooms were not bad on my visit. This visit they’re pretty bland no punch to them so I left half. The pasta and tomato sauce was for children hadn’t been heated through properly but in short tastes like penne with tomato sauce from a baby food jar.
