"This was in times past a little gem in Ayr a perfect place for that romantic night where you could have a beautiful night but sadly our latest experience told a very different story, A table of four sitting right next to us shouted, screamed and used very foul language all night. When they left several tables were glad to see the back of them. I mentioned to the manager that I was disappointed they didn't have a word asking them to keep it down. The manager said they didn't hear anything which I don't believe as they place really isn't that big. It ruined out night and we regret going which should not be how you should feel when going out. Its really disappointing and we would think twice about going back if this is the type of customers they want to attract"

"This long established venue is open until 9pm on a Wednesday night. We were out on a rainy evening and just wanted coffee and a cake. The vast majority of cafes are closed around 5.30pm and it was really heartening to find this warm and comfortable spot. Coffee and rock buns hit the spot. Worth knowing this facility of a late night snack."

"After a long day we decided to order a home delivery of two pizzas. Upon receipt of the delivery the pizzas looked like they had been thrown against a wall so I called the restaurant for a replacement, had to speak to the chef to ensure our meal would be replaced. With a little push back they replaced the meal. Only to receive a meal that did not reflect our order or meet acceptable standards. I then phoned and spoke to the chef again at this point to request a refund at which point I was effectivly told that because they are busy they did what the could to accomodate me and hung up ! I had to call back a third time and demand a refund. I am sorry but when I pay good money for a meal I expect that meal to be as order and to an acceptable standard, not to be meet with a poor attitude because they were busy. I certainly will not be using italio again."
