We had a lovely four course meal here on New Year’s Eve. The Red Lion is a lovely traditional pub restaurant with old fashioned values of friendly service and hospitality. The gastropub style food is lovely with many extra touches and generous portions. Highly recommended. read more.

The restaurant offers free WLAN for its customers, Depending on the weather conditions, you can also sit outside and be served. The rooms on site are accessible, and therefore no problem for customers with wheelchairs or physiological disabilities.

"Booked a table for 8 people on a Saturday night, but my table was set for 7 people, no problems they soon added another cover. the drinks lasted a few minutes to arrive, but it was a Saturday night. our order was accepted, the starters came fast, we felt that there was no pressure for the main to finish. I had a biryani that was really tasty and had a twist on it with a baked crust and the portion size was perfect. we did not go for dessert, but enjoyed eating, will return definitiw."

"Really lovely local pub. We cycled 35 miles for a pint and stayed for Sunday lunch. The owners were wandering around greeting the regulars and made us feel like we were regulars too. The food was fantastic and very reasonably priced. Decent selection of beer on hand pump and a lovely outdoor space to sit and enjoy it. Highly recommended"
