The Square Chinese - East Dorset

I am so happy we discovered this lovely Chinese restaurant a few years back. The food is delicious, the staff is very friendly and polite, and the atmosphere is peaceful. It truly is a fantastic place to dine.

We tried this restaurant for the first time as a takeout and were impressed with the excellent quality, freshness, and full flavor of the food. It was not overly spicy, which we appreciated. There were also many vegetarian options available. Ordering 3 full vegetarian menus was a bit too much for our family of 2 adults and 2 children (ages 11 and 8), but we still enjoyed it, even our children who aren't typically fans of Chinese cuisine. Next time, we will likely order 2 full menus and 1 small extra dish. We will definitely be ordering from this restaurant again!

I continue to be impressed by the food and service at The Square Chinese. The high standard and excellent friendly service never fails to disappoint. Some negative reviews may be misattributed to this restaurant, as I have consistently enjoyed superb Chinese food with excellent flavors and presentation. The lovely staff, including manager Maggie and waitress Ona, provide outstanding service. The relaxed atmosphere and delicious food make me look forward to my next visit. I am puzzled by negative reviews that may have been mistakenly filed against the wrong establishment.
