I need to move to East Fremantle! George Street is brimming with homewares shops, local makers and cute neighbourhood cafes including Alder & Co.

"Iw had the calzone, not impressed as it was not cooked, thru, so the filling was not hot, nor the cheese melted. but friends and I go there for lunch and the baby squid is great. grilled or crispy served with salat, tomatenrelish or wetare (not the idea why, yuk). enter and main parts, net can have them 1⁄2 and 1⁄2 grilled / crispy. mmmmmmmmmmmmmm! They have a certain red wine I can't find anywhere else so well, will come again and again for the tinted fish and red wine. tiramisu was great today, the distinctive basket dessert is large, but the basket is thick. they are back for more."

"I ordered take away Vietnamese coffee $5), roast pork bahn mi $9) and pork puff $3.5). Great bahn mi, there were a lot of roast pork throughout. The chilli wasn't hot enough, next time I will ask for more chilli. The kids enjoyed the pork puff pastry."

"To get a table at Marumo you have to wait. It was well worth it. We enjoyed every course that was delicately layed before us. Each dish was explained, well presented and very tasty. We would love to return to sample the autumn menu."

"The venue is great and the food was excellent.The only reason that I would not return is the excruciatingly slow service. Three hours of sitting in a wooden chair for a three coarse meal is too long for me.From what I could glean it seemed as if 3 staff were trying to do everything , they just couldn't keep up.We must have been there at least 20 minutes before we were even asked if we wanted any drinks!!"

"We had meze lunch on Sunday. We didnt really expect about the food quality because it is buffet restaurant. However their Food was amazing. Salad was fresh and dishes were amazing. I couldn't decide which one is my favorite! Dessert section was nice too. I fall in love with their apple crumbles. They also have soft serve icecream ; We will definitely go back for dinner service! (Lunch $40 over 30 choices dinner $52 50+ dishes"
