Ordered a 'LARGE' sliced beef noodle for $12 ( $10 for SMALL and there a display at the counter if you wonder what is the size of L & S) The broth is hot & delicious and the sliced beef is generous! They served cooked bean sprout instead of raw bean sprout. The pho also come with mint and sweet basil! Service is good :) definitely gonna visit this place again. View all feedback.
What Earnestine Skiles doesn't like about Shanghai Dumpling:
The service was slow and the food took awhile to arrive. I felt that there was a bit of inconsistency as the table in front of us with a group of people was served before us although we had ordered before they walked in. The pork chop with the rice and egg had good flavour but would not even call this a pork chop as it was very thin; a pork loin maybe. The fried rice had a lot of ingredients which was tasty. Hallelujah - finally a hearty steaming hot bowl of broth, noodles and spicy pork! I have been searching for you! I went in for lunch on a Friday - it's understaffed, but Wendy who is the new waitress there, is learning fast. The place is scrupulously clean. I had the spicy pork noodle soup. Which was properly spicy. Noodles made fresh everyday and you could tell - delicious long strands. Greens still slightly crunchy, spicy pork was tender, and the soup had a rich deep flavour. 9 bucks! There are some places on pako doing 'asian' that seriously need to come here and see how it should be done. Can't wait to try out the rest of the menu.
This was my first Pho experience and we came to the recommendation of a colleague here. The customer service was good. We had the beef and beef ball Pho, and we were satisfied with our meals. We'll be coming back.
Finally went to Let's Pho on Moorabool and so far the best Pho the girls and I have had in Geelong (not flavoured with a million spices to get the taste actually a real broth). We also had the fried chicken which was a bit oily but cooked well and the rice paper rolls had mint & coriander in them compared to none at all at other places plus the sauce was so yum (satay).
We went here two days in a row, even more friends invited to join us! We had pork EGGROLS for the appetizers, because we have a beef Pho, grilled chicken vermicelli, chickenervernicelli soup, etc. ... everything was great! Rich, Beibeian broth, not too salty, packed with taste. (Do not forget, in the bean sprouts, basil, fresh chili and lemon) to Chuck I really like it how authentic it is to try again soon other dishes.
