What User likes about The Greyfriar:
the place worth it!. we stopped after we had seen the jane austen house, despite my care that I had eaten in a facility directly opposite a tourist attraction. no worries, eating and service here were excellent! the sausages and maische I had was very tasty and my five-year-old loved his fish and chips. read more.

What Philip D doesn't like about The Greyfriar:
Don't bother visiting. I believe It's closed for an indeterminate period. Last time we went there were only 2 lagers and a cider on draught. We tried again NYE lunchtime, but it was shut. Apparently run out of beer. I don't know what Fullers are playing at, but at the very least they should update their website to save people a wasted trip.. Get a grip please! read more.
