"We spent an evening at the Fig Tree for a birthday celebration this is a gem of a restaurant. The food was spectacular and cooked to perfection. The pictures speak for themselves. "Best place to eat in Brighton! Can't compare it to anywhere else. In particular the mezze offers a delicious and healthy array of different veggie based foods. Nice eating area upstairs, nice central location. The price is very reasonable for what you get (has only gone up a small amount over the years understandably). No complaints whatsoever!"

"We only stopped by for coffee, which was great nice big cups too but the menu looks great. Very friendly, family run independent Guyanese restaurant. Breakfast and lunch every day except Monday and open for dinner at the weekend."

"Went here after reading the good reviews. The shared starter plate was great but the Pad Thai was quite stodgy with very limited chicken. I appreciate we are in strange times and the importance of protecting staff from infection but there is a way to do this. The way not to do it; make your customers feel as though they are riddled with leprosy. We felt incredibly uncomfortable with the waiter and expected us to clear the tables as he did not want to be anywhere near us. He expected us to pass our plates to the next table so he could take the plates away. We are use to the new procedures but this was a bit much."
