recently I turned 21 and now that we were vaccinated, I went here with friends to celebrate and remember a friend of us who was past. the personal was friendly, made good drinks and amazing tacos, has a very great selection, and it was just a great experience overall. I used to have one of those places in my hometown, and I want him back. View all feedback.

What User doesn't like about Los Tres Amigos East Lansing:
Waitress was very kind despite waiting over 6 tables at once. The decor is very nice, though they played the cheesiest American pop music imaginable which took away from the Mexican theme. Ordered what was supposed to be “carnitas” and there was simply no flavor, just tasted like boiled pork with no salt. View all feedback.

"I highly recommend this dining experience. The space itself is very small and intimate but welcoming. The steak (Cowboy Ribeye) was delicious, juicy and enough to feed 2 people. One of THE best steaks I've eaten in years. I'm not a huge lobster fan, however; I would order their lobster Mac n cheese again and again. Delicious!!! Their asparagus and mushrooms were cooked to perfection. The only reason I didn't give them a 5 star review is because of their augratin potatoes and the salad. I can't honestly tell you how the potatoes taste as the presentation was so far off for me that I couldn't get myself to taste it. It came out in to pie cut shape slices, it was thick, looked a little dry and just not appetizing. The salad was delicious (I ordered the grilled caesar salad) but I wasn't expecting the lettuce to be grilled and come out as two huge wedges. I don't want to work that hard to eat a salad. Other than that.....I will definitely be returning."

"This place has been open for over a year and a half without us knowing about it despite the fact that we live in the area. We now feel like that past year and a half has been entirely wasted because we never came here. I don't care what you're doing right now, drop everything and find a way to make it out to this hidden gem. Veg-n deserves every penny they get and then some. Share it with friends, family, neighbors, enemies, EVERYONE. We're going to be regulars here going forward and plan to try everything on the menu at least once. Our first trip, we had the animal basket (ironic name), and the coney carrot dog. Some of the best vegan offerings we've had from any restaurant. The service is top notch, the food is even better. This is a MUST go-to for anyone regardless of diet"

"Don't do it. That's the third time I tried and every time I got disappointed. the court sound amazing, but the performance is gone. the tempura is thick as beerbatter and too crisp. my roll was all gone into the middle. I'm just not a fan of boiled steam avocado. it took her three times as long as I had ready to eat my food. blah. I feel bad. I spent $32 on 2 appetizers who were not wisely appetizing. I won't try. go somewhere else."
