"Great cafe and great service! We had tea and cakes which were delicious. A great variety of cheesecakes plus cupcakes, scones and brownies on offer. Will be back to try the lunch menu as offers good alternatives to the usual fish and chips or burgers!"

"We came to the Barley Mow for their pie night last night. The pies were amazing, best we have ever had. I had the chicken, ham and leek and my wife had the beef in red wine. Perfectly cooked pastry packed with meat. Lovely, crispy chips and perfectly cooked vegetables. Fabulous desserts, the banoffee pie was delicious, as was the lemon cheesecake. Fantastic service by the the team and Jayne is the perfect host. Thank you team BM."

"Beautiful place to stay with a warm welcome from the personal. nice clean room with everything you need for a good sleep. tea and coffee in the room together with fresh towels. a few beers in the bar heard the banter and laugh among the employees and customers. the breakfast was very filled with delicious local products. new manager was very polite and helpful and ensured that they had everything they needed for their stay. would recommend this little jewel of a pub for a quiet escape and a quiet stay."

"Absolutely fantastic service and eating was sensational. King prawns, garlic mushrooms and rib-eye steak are dying. I can't thank the staff enough to help me to lift the little things for my partner on the 25th birthday. we'll be back someday. I am sending my compliments to the chef!"
