While some diners have encountered disappointment with small portions and lackluster flavors, others rave about the freshness and quality of their meals, notably the fish and chips. Despite its limited menu, many appreciate the friendly staff and willingness to wait for freshly prepared dishes. While prices may seem steep for certain items, the overall sentiment leans toward valuing taste and enjoyment. Acknowledged for its welcoming service, diners are encouraged to visit, albeit with an understanding of the occasional wait.
We popped in here as a family of five so quite a big order . The lady serving was nice and recommended the Lincolnshire fishcake which was lovely . All enjoyed our meals back at the caravan .
Read other reviews we ordered regular fish and chips Fish was battered well, the fish was NOT thin as mentioned by someone , very tasty. Plenty of chips.
First time of going there. Nearly gave up because it took so long to get served, but it was Friday evening so yes it was busy but the wait was a very very long wait Perhaps more staff needed? . Fish and chips were ok, Not the best I have ever had but were ok. Fish did not taste that fresh.I know prices are all going up but I thought for a meal it was not best value for money.
The most amazing chips. Opening was a little restricted 12-5 but it was gorgeous quality and worth it. A little expensive. But big portions, it was enjoyed by all the family.
Asked for large fish What I got was a very thin cheap fillet, which was small and looked like a fish finger, very dry and tasteless and I got charges £5 for, all thay are doing is ripping of the locals and the holiday makers Will definitely not be going back and would never recommend them
