What caitlin hennessey doesn't like about El Chivo Feliz:
Pretty nasty place. It's dirty. Super dirty. The menudo had a thick layer of oil floating on top and it was so salty that it was inedible. I poured some of my water into the menudo to dilute the saltiness but it didn't help. The asada tacos were grissly and tasted wild, yet lacking seasoning. The salsas (red and green) were flavorless. The refried beans were also flavorless and microwaved until they had crispy edges.... View all feedback.

This is a very very simple and unassuming place... You might even miss it, given it's a bit rough looking building exterior and little signage. My husband found it on a Google search last year and he and I decided to go for one of our breakfast dates and we've just been going back frequently because we both really love the goat. There are maybe three people working in front and we are always attended well and our food comes out promptly. The gals working there are prompt and keep the place clean. Let me just say that it was the most delicious and flavorful goat meat, birria, that I've had in a very very long time. I've cooked goat many times and had it also many times in Chihuahua and it has a very unique and complex flavor... Add to it a great mix of seasonings and slow cooking and you have a magical dish... Birria! They do it very very well.I love their crispy birria tacos with the broth, that broth is FANTASTIC! I ALWAYS polish it off! I highly recommend checking them out.Let me just say that I crave this food and that's why my husband and I go here regularly for breakfast... It's one of our favorites!
No one speaks English there, had to drive away!, Tried to show them on my phone, they still couldn't understand! Pitiful!!
The food is so good and it's a fun place to take your family. The best Mexican food restaurant I have been to that is cheap.
