"I had the Beets starter which was amazing with a little heat from the chillis. Then mushroom risotto with hens egg which was equally fantastic. Met a colleague to discuss business but food far too good for us to talk and haven’t even mentioned the simple pleasures beer not a bad Thursday"

"Worst meal ever. First time trying since it has been taken over and definitely the last. Chips were dry,. Sausage was white, no meat content and inedible. Fish was dry, chewy and also inedible and the kebab had no flavour and very poor quality. Added to the fact that there was a long wait I would not return and would NOT recommend. "A delicious meal and friendly staff. We visit Italy a lot and can honestly say the food is as good. We had the fritto Misto and arranchini followed by the spaghetti vongole and filled ravioli with a side of courgette fritti. The tiramisu was delicious and a lovely end to a good meal. I’m embarrassed that we forgot to leave a tip as my husband thought I said I had paid it with the food. We will be back."

"We stopped for lunch after a dog walk nearby. We received a warm welcome and chose to sit with the dog in the bar area. We had a burger and a fish finger sandwich, the food was fab, everything appeared homemade and very fresh. I must mention the onion rings which came with the burger, they are huge, unfortunately we ate them before I thought to take a photo! The pub has not long reopened with new owners, we wish them all the best of luck, the food was excellent and we will certainly stop again for lunch when we are next passing."
