We both had the same meals — butternut squash soup as an appetizer and pork orzo bucco as a special entree. The soup was okay but the Ozzie bucco was outstanding, It was very noisy due to a party of 12. View all feedback.
What Terry L Aaron doesn't like about Bistro 44:
We have come there quite a few times for dinner. The last two times we have dined there we were very disappointed with the service and the food quality, and it feels like they did not really care That their customers were waiting patiently to be served and also to receive their check. My go to after work. Love the staff, the food and the atmosphere. Never had a bad meal here. Hope you enjoy.
Great pick for a nice meal on Main St. Dark wooded interior and pretty patio. Seafood ceviche was a nice mixture of various favorites, including big chunks of lobster good value for the money.
Our server Endy was phenomenal; amicable, patient, and charismatic. The service was incredible. The mixed drinks were underwhelming. The seafood risotto wasn't impressive. It felt more like a rice seafood dish instead of a cohesive risotto. It lacked flavor and was poorly executed.
Haven’t been here since last year as we vacation here. I was sooo disappointed with the service, we ordered a number of starters to share, 2 came out while we waited 20 minutes for the balance of starters, my crab cakes were burnt. Every other table that sat down before us was served their starters well before us. Wait staff didn’t care, and were very nonchalant about it all. We decided to pay for starters and go elsewhere for mains. Such a pity as this place was my favourite in north port.
This is a great place to dine while in Northport. Menu was interesting, food and drinks were delicious and prices were reasonable. The lobster ravioli had a huge amount of lobster. Service was excellent and wait staff was very friendly even when so busy on a Friday night.
